Popularity of our gold and silver cigars

In the world of premium cigars, appearance can be just as captivating as taste. Gold and silver cigars have gained immense popularity, not merely for their flavor but largely due to their dazzling and opulent golden/silvery look. These metallic finishes elevate the cigar from a simple indulgence to a symbol of sophistication and extravagance.

The appeal of gold and silver cigars lies in their ability to catch the eye and convey a sense of luxury. Wrapped in shimmering metallic hues, these cigars stand out instantly in any setting, making them a favored choice for celebratory occasions or as distinguished gifts. The reflective surfaces evoke exclusivity and high status, resonating with connoisseurs who appreciate both craftsmanship and style.

Beyond their visual impact, these cigars often embody meticulous attention to detail in their production. The combination of traditional cigar-making techniques with innovative decorative elements results in a product that delights both the senses and the aesthetic sensibility. This fusion attracts aficionados who value not only the taste but also the artistry behind their cigars.

Moreover, the trend towards flashy and luxurious cigars reflects a broader cultural appreciation for unique, standout items that express personal identity and success. Golden and silver cigars perfectly meet this demand, offering a way to make a bold yet refined statement.

Quality cigars for our high-end clientele worldwide

At Cigars D'Or, we specialize in handcrafting and distributing gold/golden and silver cigars with high-quality tobacco leaves. We make our cigars in very limited quantities and our target audience is focused on high-class customers who are aficionados of quality cigars.

For our ultra-premium cigars, only long filler leaves from Cuba and the Dominican Republic are used. These leaves are essential for achieving the complex flavors and superior burn qualities associated with high-end cigars. Some of the cigars we offer are wrapped in 24k gold leaf, while others are wrapped in silver leaf.

Unlike short filler leaves, which are often used in lower-quality cigars, long filler leaves are selected for their consistent texture and rich flavor profile. They are rolled in their entirety, providing a more even burn and a more refined smoking experience.

The use of long filler leaves ensures that every puff delivers the desired flavor profile, making each cigar a sophisticated and pleasurable experience. This meticulous selection and rolling process is crucial to maintaining the high production standards of our luxury cigars.

Why our cigars are so famous

Fermentation plays a crucial role in tobacco production, especially for premium cigars. This process not only removes impurities from the leaves but also helps develop their color and aroma, enhancing the overall quality of the final product. The tobacco undergoes several fermentation stages, each essential to achieving the perfect result.

Tobacco Fermentation: Fermentation plays a crucial role in tobacco production, especially for ultra-premium cigars. This process not only removes impurities from the leaves but also helps develop their color and aroma, enhancing the overall quality of the final product. The tobacco undergoes several fermentation stages, each essential to achieving the perfect result.

Why Ferment Tobacco Leaves?

Tobacco fermentation begins immediately after the leaves are dried and can last between 30 and 90 days. This process requires precise control of temperature and humidity, as improper fermentation can spoil the tobacco. It is important to note that fermentation can be considered a multi-stage process, sometimes involving two or three stages.

Due to their thinness, delicate wrapper leaves typically undergo only one fermentation phase. During the first phase, impurities such as proteins and carbohydrates are removed, and nicotine, tar, and acidity levels are reduced, softening the leaves and improving their texture. The second fermentation phase further enhances the flavor and eliminates any remaining impurities.

Drying process that we follow

Once drying is complete, the leaves are stacked into piles called "sheaves" and covered with cloth to improve air circulation. The residual moisture in the leaves and the pressure of the stacking cause a natural increase in temperature, initiating fermentation. This process is similar to the composting of fruits and vegetables: microorganisms begin to break down the leaves, thus starting the fermentation process.

To ensure high-quality tobacco, the temperature inside the piles must not exceed 35°C. The process requires constant temperature monitoring, and once the desired level is reached, the piles are broken up and the leaves rearranged to ensure even fermentation. The leaves in the middle are moved to the top, and those at the top to the bottom. This process continues until all the leaves have undergone uniform fermentation.

It is important to note that not all leaves ferment in the same way. The leaves from the top of the plant, which are thicker and contain more oils, require a longer fermentation. On average, the first fermentation phase lasts about 30 days.
